Branding (Naming)

Beer Branding & Naming
Although I do not design the actual labels, I often name and/or develop concepts for many of our products. You can check out a couple of those here as well as some other naming projects.

Green Zebra
Name and concept. What do you call a Gose style ale brewed with watermelon and sea salt? Green Zebra, of course! Had fun naming this one. Artwork by Jacob Wiseheart, design by in-house designer.

Palm Reader
Name and concept. Inspired by Michigan based ingredients, Palm Reader came to mind as a perfect fit as both a name and label concept. Design by in-house designer.

Spectra Trifecta
Name only. Name inspired by the harmonious blend or trifecta of the three featured ingredients.

Barrel Runner
Name only. We put this one in rum barrels. Enough said!

Dankwood
Name only. We put our hoppy red IPA “reDANKulous” in a barrel.

Tank Bender
Name only. Inspired by our “regret nothing” attitude, this beer used a freezing method to brew this Eisbock. The result, some damaged and bent equipment. Inspired by the process, Tank Bender seemed to be a great fit to tell a story of how we continue to push the limits, regardless of outcome.

Big Lushious
Name only. Inspired by our brewers description and rich ingredients, Big Lushious was born.

Cadre
Was tasked with developing our enthusiast program from branding to web development and beyond. Inspired by our mantra, developed the “Cadre” program. Design by in-house designer.

The Big Pitcher
Named our corporate social giving program at Founders Brewing Co. “The Big Pitcher”. It focuses on efforts beyond beer that build and give back to the community and world we live in. Logo design by in-house designer.
